Taking advantage of the good weather the first week, we took Evan to the beach. He loves the water and had great fun splashing in the waves. However, due to us getting washed up by the incoming tide (not once, but twice) our beach trip was cut short! Other days were spent with Evans cousins, walks and catching up on some much needed sleep (thanks grandparents!).
^^Enjoying some lunch before we got
washed up (the first time)^^
The second week the weather wasn't as good, but we still managed to get out and about. A walk along the beachfront, a trip to the zoo and walks around pretty villages and Exeter city, saw us getting caught in a few heavy downpours, but the fresh air was just what we needed.
^^In between soaking one + two^^
^^Sheltering from the first downpour^^
^^Remember these??^^
^^A novel way to bathe Evan^^
^^The bottom of a smugglers tunnel
which led us to a beach- very cool^^
^^Evan napped in his sling after our trip
to the zoo, it was the cutest thing^^
We are now home and look who has a new walker...
