Spending mornings out, exploring our local surroundings, enjoying not having to travel too far for a great day.
Mostly it has been garden centres. There are three all in pretty close proximity, each with a unique draw. Namely the falconry and aquatic centre, farm animals, farm shop and children's play area. All with a cafe.
Evan has endless enjoyment from toddling around, and me, from watching him.
We take time to rest, perhaps indulge in a cake or lunch. Conversation forever flowing, Evan telling me about his adventures in his own language of course.
The rest of the day we spend sleeping, cooking, playing in the garden and if we have the energy, a walk before tea.
Lately it is working for us.
Lately has been good.
